Steps to Success: Mentor/Monitor

Hello.

Let's get straight to it. This month's nugget is mentor/monitor, and I phrase it purposefully. We live today in a society that has made information so accessible to us, we really don't need any help succeeding, so we think. People are conditioned to succeed in a particular time frame, there really is no time for failure, saying to themselves I must make this amount of money by this time or else. And there is the person who is supporting you, but they are on a time schedule too. Don't get me wrong here, you can achieve success quick, yet, what are you really learning? what will you hae to share to others?

For success, you will need a mentor, and, this relationship has to be more than just online, or how I would put it, virtual. I'm from the old school, and, being prior military, it's embedded in me the phrase "go/no go status", where a person is monitored, through training, to a successful state. Monitor is not just for the mentor, but for the mentoree, keeping them on the ground, or real, meaning where they are honestly at in their development. Purchasing books, joining clubs, and so forth will not benefit you without proper application of what you've learned, through a seasoned person steering you. Now, a word of wisdom, please be ready to give your all during each mentoring phase, for this is life-going, and jot down notes for you to teach in the future.

Take your time to find that mentor, and develop your business into success.
