Steps to Success: Mentor/Monitor

Hello.

Let's get straight to it. This month's nugget is mentor/monitor, and I phrase it purposefully. We live today in a society that has made information so accessible to us, we really don't need any help succeeding, so we think. People are conditioned to succeed in a particular time frame, there really is no time for failure, saying to themselves I must make this amount of money by this time or else. And there is the person who is supporting you, but they are on a time schedule too. Don't get me wrong here, you can achieve success quick, yet, what are you really learning? what will you hae to share to others?

For success, you will need a mentor, and, this relationship has to be more than just online, or how I would put it, virtual. I'm from the old school, and, being prior military, it's embedded in me the phrase "go/no go status", where a person is monitored, through training, to a successful state. Monitor is not just for the mentor, but for the mentoree, keeping them on the ground, or real, meaning where they are honestly at in their development. Purchasing books, joining clubs, and so forth will not benefit you without proper application of what you've learned, through a seasoned person steering you. Now, a word of wisdom, please be ready to give your all during each mentoring phase, for this is life-going, and jot down notes for you to teach in the future.

Acceptance: Steps to Success

Hello.

I have been busy recently, and, I will have two posts for the month, since I have missed last month, forgive me for that.

I will start off with the subject of Acceptance. I had a conversation with a friend of mine, and while discussing his plans for his future, he came to me and said, "Tony, thanks for the information and experience you shared in hepling me, have you tried to share your experience to others?" This struck a chord inside of me, for I started to wonder how many people realize how much experience they really with online business. Cutting to the chase, do you have enough experience to consult others to succeed, do you accept that you qualify for this level in your life today? There are people who don't give themselves enough credit, and, it can cloud their view, and hinder their opportunity on line. When you approach this venture, you are a leader first, providing others with tools for success, while you succeed as well, both on and offline. Acceptance of being an expert in your field to others, will benefit you tremendously in building your opt-in list, followers, and, eventually, products you'll create to further your business. We have to really look at ourselves, and, say, I am an online businessperson, here to help you succeed, as I have done. You are that leader, that person, so grab hold, and accept it today.
