Hi.
I want to go deeper today into template, and why it is so important. Last post, I mentioned key areas to work with when developing a template, that was to give an outline, or framework to go by. Time to jump in!!!
A template is the set of instructions you used to get success with a brand, or concept presently working with. When I mentioned last this will take time, I was not kidding. I will give an example to you. In the formation of a business plan, included must be the time frame for you to first break even, and then, to profit. Banking institutions know well you will not make it there overnight, but they will pay close attention to how you get there, and, how realistic it is. Your template has to be realistic, which means, you are conducting research....with the brand, or niche you have chosen, matched against others on the Internet, timeframe to realistically obtain a profit, how you can actually obtain that profit, writing down the steps that worked. Now, here I am saying steps that worked, but we're developing the plan....that's where the research comes in.
People may think I'm crazy when I say this, but, networking with others who have similar niches, will move you so much closer to you developing your template, for we feed off of other's experiences. The next thing I'm adding is the financial picture, how much each process is going to cost. Please put a pricetag to it, so you won't fool yourself in how long you will take. The third thing I will mention is the time taken to have keywords for your site, blog, ezine, whatever, for when you begin to advertise, to get effective rankings and visibility, remember now, we have a budget, and it is a market, therefore competition will be intense. The fourth and final step is the creation and the consistent implementation of a schedule: Posting, time to research, time to analyze, and to write down what you've done to get where you're at.
When the template has been finalized, it will act as the path you will take to create another stream of income, once you have succeeded with the first one. Again, why am I talking both present and future tense? Because you will always be tweaking this until you have something right, while you are still pushing your business. It's important to always fine tune, and not be stagnant. You want success right?
